Karen Mukupa was born in 1973 in Zambia, but has primarily grown up in Tanzania, where she lived until she moved to Denmark as a 15 year old.
Karen Mukupa is known as hostess of Kidchen on the children's program on TV 2 and from his many music albums. In addition, she has worked as an interpreter in Swahili, written a column for Metroxpress, published two children's books with, among other things, Princess stories from different places in the world, and sung the duo with Kid Creole and several Danish artists.
In the early 1990s, Karen Mukupa started his musical career in the Danish highly respected hip hop / reggae phenomenon, No Name Requested. The duo consisted of Denmark's reggae queen Natasja and Mukupa himself. No Name Requested still remembered as a phenomenon that revolutionized Danish hip hop and reggae.
